Country Comfort...The Retreat is tastefully furnished and decorated in a comfortable and casual lodge style and each room of the home has amazing views of the expansive grounds, medows, ponds, wetlands and woodlands. The Retreat is cozy for two but will sleep 8 comfortably in its three bedrooms and sun/family room. Living Room views w/brick fireplace Country kitchen Dining Room Activities and Attractions...There are trails and special areas for a quiet retreat where you can view the scenery and wildlife and there is plenty of room for gatherings of family and friends to enjoy over 3 acres of lawns with territorial views. Don't be surprised if you see our Elk heard lounging in the fields next to the ponds or our neighborly Blue Herons out to catch a meal in one of the three ponds on the property. The property also has several nesting boxes for native Wood Ducks. Each year our Wood Ducks, Merganzers, Ring Necks, Mallards, Redwing Blackbirds, Buffleheads and a large variety of other birds make their home at the farm. It is a wonderful retreat for birders and nature enthusiasts of all kinds. Rising Springs Farm is part of the Nisqually River Watershed in the Nisqually Glacier-to-Sound Stewardship Corridor. It has been voluntary managed for over two decades to preserve and ehance habitat and wildlife. The Paradise entrance to Mt. Rainier, 20 minutes from the Farm, is the best known for its superb hiking, mountain climbing and viewing wildflowers in summer and snow play in winter. Winter around the mountain brings snow. At Paradise and White Pass Ski Areas, just 17 miles from the park's southeast entrance on the White Pass Scenic byway, is a favorite for family-friendly skiing. Great day trips to the Olympic National Park and Pacific beaches, Columbia River Gorge, eastern Washington's wine country, Mt. St. Helen's National Momument and Seattle and Tacoma's urban sites and sounds. Easy Access... It is located just two miles north of the town of Eatonville just off the Mt. Highway (State Route 161) and US Highway #7 about half hour south of Tacoma and an hour south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Eatonville is the first stop to scenic recreation areas including Mt. Rainier National Park, Gifford Pinchot and Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forests, Mt. St. Helen's National Momument, Alderlake recreation area, Northwest Trek, Pioneer Farm and Park Forest. Eatonville has all of the amenities you and your family need: grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, post office, library, parks and lots of shops for browing for items crafted by local woodworkers, potters, quilters and other artists. Rising Springs Farm is only five minutes away from Northwest Trek Wildlife Park where you can take a tram tour to see bison, brawny bears and wolves and walk forest pathways to see beavers swim, wolverines play and lynx pounce. The Pioneer Village, Alder Lake and Pack Forest are also only a short drive from the farm. . Amenities 







The living room has a large picture window and French Door overlooking a large pond. There is a floor to ceiling red brick fireplace with built in cabinets to contain television. A large family-sunroom has it's own sink, cabinets and French Doors leading out to its own deck overlooking the pond.
The kitchen has wood cabinets with ample storage, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the counter space you will need. There is a large pantry and laundry room with a washer and dryer next to the half bath.
The dining area overlooks an the front yard and an ornamental pond. The yard immediately surrounding the home is fully fenced which makes it a perfect place for children and pets.


The driveway into the home is fenced and gated. The house is all electric with a electrostatic air cleaning system and heat pump and airconditioning.
Accommodations
The home can accommodate up to eight (8) guests in three (3) large bedrooms all with built-in closets with either woodland or water views and a futon in the family/sunroom. The master bedroom is very spacious, with a dresser, night stands, lounge area and has direct access to the large main bahtroom which has a full sized tub and shower.

The two other guest bedrooms have very comfortable full sized pillow topped mattresses, large dressors with closets and desks. The sun-family room has a futon which accommodates two guests in a private area with its own living-media room, small convenience kitchen and dining-entertainment area.
Special Features
The yard immediately surrounding the home is fully fenced which makes it a perfect place for children and pets to play. There is a large lawn area for recreation and relaxing.
The home has an oversized two car garage which will accommodate two vehicles and there two adjoining vehcile covered carport spaces.

The Farm is situated in the Nisqually Glacier to Sound Stewardship Cooridor. The area is a blend of family farms, small rural communities and forested landscapes. It is the gateway to scenic recreation aras such as Mt. Rainier National Park and Gifford Pinchot National Forst and Goat Rocks Wilderness Area.
The Farm is only 5 minutes from NW Trek (wildlife center), 20 minutes from Alder Lake for swimming and Elbe steam train, fishing and boating activities, golfing, or you can go whitewater rafting or kayaking on the Nisqually or Tieton Rivers. Skiing at Paradise or White Pass is within an hours drive.
Northwest Trek, the Pioneer Farm, Pack Forest and a number of small fishing and swimming lakes are just minutes away.
